Happy Halloween

Aside from carving out a rather splendid pumpkin and watching scary movies, I wanted to celebrate Halloween by revealing a little more about the horror feature I directed, that's currently in post-production.

So I thought I'd do a little Q&A.

What's it called Dan?
STORMHOUSE

What's it about?
It's set in 2002 on a British military base. The military have caught and imprisoned a supernatural entity.

When is it out?
2011

Why horror?
I rather like the horror genre, and I wanted to make a horror that was an unashamed full-on horror film.
It's a great script that Jason Arnopp wrote, full of suspense, atmosphere, shocks, jumps, gore, and some fiendishly dark twists.

Do you like scaring people?
Yes. Yes I do.

What's so different about Stormhouse?
We are not reinventing the wheel or trying to be clever. We set out to make a horror film that has the chilling atmosphere of The Exorcist combined with the visceral energy of modern horror.
Put simply, it's a horror film for horror fans, by horror fans. we know what the horror audience expect and we want to give it to them.

Hey Dan -

Love the tag line for the poster.

Any chance you've got North American distribution?
